@matigo
Vim often feels unnecessarily complex for relatively simple tasks. I tend to use a Joe for those, but then I far prefer to use alpine for email over just about anything.
// @streakmachine @jextxadore
@JeremyCherfas I can talk about it in the irc/slack, I'll be back on later this evening, have appointments for a few hours
@matigo Easy mistake to make, only about, ooh, 40 years difference between the two men ?
// @jussipekonen @rabryst
@matigo No he didnt.
Fry is Billy West.
Robin is Michael Cera!

@JeremyCherfas I got likes and reposts working in known. Unfortunately, I got them working by downgrading to 0.9.1, and I lost all my posts. That's fine by me, as it was explicitly an experimental site, but may not be so for you. Plus, you lose all the micropub/quill goodness. Anyway, just thought it might be of interest.
@jws
Alls I want/need is ssh access. And yeah, they let you choose your locations. Think my vps is in roubaix, France, but will be moving to .de soon for ssd server.
// @JeremyCherfas @kdfrawg
@dgold Ah yeah, their VPS prices look pretty comparable to Digital Ocean. Much more enterprisey site design, but once you have ssh, who cares?

I too have despaired at the atp people, also tired of the incomparable people. Might I recommend Mike Duncan? History of Rome [thehistoryofrome.typepad.com] and then Revolutions [revolutionspodcast.com]. It's like what CGP Grey would be like if he was one of Qualified, Personable or Knowledgeable
// @matigo @jussipekonen @hybotics
@jws I'm currently using ovh as a vps provider. Price is probably too low, but the servers aren't in the US or the UK, which is the absolute red line for me. That I used Linux exclusively since 1995 meant I had the skill set to get it all up and running, ymmv.
